Hiya!

I’m Katie, the designer behind WSK. I’ve been a fiber artist since childhood when my grandmother, realizing that I had busy hands and a busier brain, introduced me to worsted weight yarn and a crochet hook. I took off chain-stitching and never looked back. I learned to knit in college and found a whole new world of sticks and loops to keep me entertained. It was only a matter of time until my knitting fascination and my boundless love of color collided to create Wandering Star Knits.

When I’m not knitting, I sew my own clothes, drink a lot of coffee, and generally wander around looking for adventure. I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with a small in stature (but mighty in spirit) poodle named Abilene.
